Detox Juice Recipes

Keeping in mind the fact that eating healthy and ingesting good sources of vitamins and minerals can help the body detox itself, some of the juices which can aid the process of detoxification are mentioned below.

Ginger Cucumber Smoothie:

Cucumber helps cool the body while providing potassium and orange provides the necessary vitamin C. Spinach is high in Iron, ginger is good for digestion and immunity and avocado is a source of good fats.

Ingredients:

• 30 grams of Spinach leaves, cleaned and washed

• 1 medium-sized Cucumber, preferably peeled

• 1 Orange, peeled

• ½ Avocado, peeled and de-seeded

• Tiny piece of Ginger, about 1-2 cm

• Water

• Ice, if needed

• One can also add honey, maple syrup or palm syrup to add sweetness

Steps to follow:

• Chop the cucumber and spinach leaves roughly.

• Add all the ingredients together in a blender.

• Blend until there are no lumps in them.

• The smoothie is ready to be served.

Ginger Turmeric Smoothie:

Ginger as mentioned earlier improves immunity and digestion while turmeric is well known for its anti-oxidant properties. Turmeric also improves immunity and reduces inflammation. It also contains squash which is a good source of magnesium, iron, and folate.

Ingredients:

• 1 Orange, peeled

• 1 medium-sized Squash, peeled

• ½ Avocado, if needed, peeled and de-seeded

• ½ teaspoon of turmeric powder

• Small piece of ginger, 1-2 cm

• Water

• Ice, if needed

• One can also add honey, maple syrup or palm syrup to add sweetness

Steps to follow:

• Chop the squash into small pieces.

• Add all the ingredients to the blender.

• Blend until the mixture has no lumps

• The smoothie is ready to be served.

Coconut Banana Smoothie:

Banana is high in potassium and coconut helps increase metabolism, inducing fat burn.

Ingredients:

• 1 Banana, peeled

• 1 tablespoon cold-pressed Coconut Oil

• 100 grams natural Yoghurt or Coconut milk

• 1 Tablespoon Chia Seeds

• Ice, if required

Steps to follow:

• Add all the ingredients to a blender.

• Blend them till there are no lumps remaining.

• The smoothie is ready to be served.
